Pen Plotter Introductory Workshop – Leave with your drawing in 3 colors

3 hours – One-on-one, in my studio in Mirabel

Curious to see what a pen plotter can do with a simple pencil? Do you love clean lines, mechanical surprises, and digital twists? I offer a private 3-hour workshop to explore how the Axidraw pen plotter works, learn how to vectorize your images, and leave with an original 3-color creation, drawn just for you… by the machine.

Whether you are an artist, designer, visual tinkerer or simply curious, this workshop offers you a practical initiation, at your own pace and without pressure.

In this workshop, you will be guided step-by-step to:

• discover how a pen plotter works (AxiDraw),

• Learn how to prepare a vector file for the plot.

• Use Inkscape software to create the compatible drawing.

• experiment with tracing with three pens of different colors,

• and leave with an 8 x 10 inch visual, drawn on paper by the plotter.

I provide all the necessary materials. You just need to bring 3 or 4 images (digital or printed) that you’d like to turn into a vector drawing. Together, we’ll choose the one to be finalized.

No prerequisites, just the desire to explore the magic of the mechanical line.
